I retained Ron with Arborist Consulting Solutions to assess a mature rubber tree at our building after HOA concerns. He conducted a thorough evaluation, found the tree healthy, and recommended mitigation pruning—canopy elevation and crown cleaning—to maintain it. These actions would have saved the tree, guaranteed that the building continue on safely, maintained any air conditioning and electrical, protected the roof, reduced debris to be cleared, and saved the tree. Everyone’s interests would have been heard and addressed. Literally, as Ron and I were speaking the HOA’s hired company arrived and began tearing into the tree. The poor ancient tree, approximately 11 feet around (probably more because I’m not handy with the tape measure) by day two is nothing but a stump. I added a few before/after photos. I do not harbor ill will toward anyone involved, but write this review as advisement and prayer. These old trees are essential for all of us. They might be considered dirty or lowly — but they are god’s creatures and they take care of all of us, while asking for very little in return.. All of us has a part to play in taking care of the trees. I failed in my part by not calling sooner. Please don’t let this happen to your tree.
